Where does the funding come from?
Under the ECO scheme, larger energy suppliers provide the funding for energy efficiency improvements in British households. Each supplier is given a specific target based on their share of the domestic energy market. These obligated suppliers work together with professional installers to ensure a quick and efficient installation of these measures in your home.
It’s a government funded scheme - what’s the government’s role in this?
In support of energy efficiency, the UK government has introduced ECO4, a program aimed at assisting lower-income households grappling with fuel poverty. By participating in this scheme, these households can significantly reduce their energy bills, allowing them to find financial relief and work towards greater financial stability.
